Mitsubishi Hattrick at CDP
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation received CDP’s highest rank and grade (The A List) in the categories of climate and water for the company’s third consecutive year. This is in recognition to the firm's environmental focus in its activities and goals, and the company’s timely and appropriate information disclosure.
Mitsubishi has recently begun initiatives that tackle to preserve water resources, by effective water consumption and emission management in its facilities, water conservation and reuse, and through promoting more efficient use of water. These policies fit into the company’s Environmental Vision 2021 plan.
Mitsubishi and Tsunami Detection
Mitsubishi recently announced the progress that is has made in the world of tsunami detection technology. The company recently developed a high frequency ocean surface radar technology. The new technology allows for the more accurate and timely detection of the multiple wave-fronts of tsunamis. The technology also has the capability of detecting tsunamis more accurately, with a false detection rate of 0.1 percent, and at times estimate sea levels to within with 50 centimeters. Mitsubishi Electric began working on tsunami multiple wave-front detection technology using high frequency ocean surface radar since the 2011 Japan Earthquake.
Creston Now Shipping New Solutions
Creston has recently announced its implementation of shipping complete portfolio of Creston Flex Unified Communications and Collaboration Solutions. Creston Flex improves work by providing a simple and consistent user experience, in all the places people work and meet, by reducing time wasted in getting technology to work. The Creston Flex P100 Series is Creston’s first voice-over-IP desk phone. Challenging the complexity of telephony, the new series delivers Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business experience to users of desktop phones.

New Creston Performance User Interface
Creston announced recently the release of the Creston Performance UI. The new user experience was designed exclusively for the TSR-310 handheld touch screen remote. The UI gives residential integrators unprecedented power to provide stunning user experience. The Interface also reduces deployment time with minimal programming requirements. Among the list of new features, the new interface provides integrated media, lighting, shades, and climate control, as well as quick actions. There is also a voice command interface that is built-in, simplifying the configuration.

Extron’s New Collaboration System
Extron Electronics recently introduced its new HC 402 Series within its Meeting Space Collaboration Systems. The new systems allow for the combination of video switching, scaling, signal extension, and system control into a one-gang wall plate transmitter, that is paired with a receiver. The wall plate transmitters are available in a number of formats, including US decorated style, and international EU, and MK-style form factors. The new system provides effortless user experience, built-in control capabilities, and various other features that improve usability and connectivity at the workplace.
