CommScope selected by AT&T for 5G Implementation
CommScope has been selected alongside Samsung Electronics to implement 5G-broadband solutions for AT&T’s customers in the United States. Specifically, CommScope was chosen to be the Spectrum Acess System provider for this partnership. Initially, the CBRS radio spectrum broadband will be trialled, and afterwards the network will transition to 5G.

Mitsubishi Electric to Expand its TFT-LCD Line
Mitsubishi Electric is releasing new solutions to expand its TFT-LCD product line, which is made up of different sized colour touch panel modules. The new solutions are 7.0-inch WXGA and 15.0-inch XGA respectively, with a tougher outer frame and more scratch-resistant glass cover. More information regarding detailed specifications can be found in Mitsubishi Electric’s press release in mid-September.
Leyard at IBC
Leyard was one of the participants at the International Broadcast Conference, alongside its subsidiaries: Planar, eyevis and Teracue. Leyard showcased its LED display solutions, including the TWS and TVF Series. Leyard also demonstrated the products of its recently acquired subsidiaries, such as the Planar UltraRes Series, the eyevis EYE-LCD products, and the Teracue ENC400 series.
Crestron Partnership with Josh.ai
On September 13th, Crestron announced that it would be partnering with Josh.ai as an official integration partner. Josh.ai is an Artificial Intelligence voice control system, which can be connected to Crestron devices through the Pyng operating system. This will increase home owner’s capabilities and comfort, by allowing them to control their IoT appliances with simple voice commands.

Extron's ShareLink Pro 1000
On September 13th, Extron announced the release of the ShareLink Pro 1000, which is a Collaboration Gateway with both wireless and wired capabilities. ShareLink Pro supports connectivity to computers, tablets, and smartphones, with four devices simultaneously displayed at a time.
